Friends, neighbors, and fellow Democrats: welcome to the brand new home of the Democratic Women of Gaston County! We are so proud to finally share this space with you, and we could not have picked a better moment. The November 3 midterms are almost here, early voting is already underway, and Gaston County Democrats are ready to show up.

We built this site to be useful, not just pretty. Here is what you will find.

Everything you need to vote

Our Voting Resources page puts the essentials in one place. Check your voter registration, look up your sample ballot, find out how to vote early in person or by mail, review the voter photo ID rules, and get in touch with the Gaston County Board of Elections. Early voting runs through October 31, so please do not wait. Bring a friend, bring your family, and make a plan.

Meet our Democratic slate

We have posted the full list of 2026 Democratic Nominees on your Gaston County ballot, as endorsed by the Gaston County Democratic Party. You will find our candidates for US House District 14, the NC State Senate, the NC State House, the Gaston County Commission, and the Gaston County Board of Education. There is also a quick tool to look up which districts are yours. And one more thing: three proposed amendments to the North Carolina Constitution are on the ballot, and the Gaston County Democratic Party recommends voting against all three.

These are Democrats from right here in our communities, ready to serve. They deserve our votes, our voices, and every bit of energy we can give them between now and November 3.

Stay in the loop on our News page, where we share updates from the North Carolina Democratic Party and from our own members. Our Events calendar lists our monthly meetings, held the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Erwin Center in Gastonia, along with community events like Stroll the Souls to the Polls on October 25. Guests are always welcome.

And mark your calendar for our holiday fundraiser, Mingle and Jingle, on Friday, December 11, from 6 to 9 pm. Tickets are available now through ActBlue on our Donate page. It will be a joyful night to celebrate everything we accomplish together this fall.
